Email fraud
Dear customers and partners,
I'd like to inform you that an identity theft (email fraud) attempt is currently underway. Malicious individuals are using a fake email address ( info.moniquemichel@gmail.com ) to pose as me and demand payments or report alleged technical issues.
👉 This address is not mine . My only official channels are:
info@moniquemichel.com (primary email address)
moniquemichel@marketingbienveillant.com (communications)
www.marketingbienveillant.com (official website)
Thank you for your vigilance and for not responding to these fraudulent requests.
❌ How do you recognize a fraudulent email?
The sender address looks like mine, but contains different information (here: @ gmail.com instead of @ moniquemichel.com ).
The message indicates that there is an emergency (immediate payment, urgent technical problem).
It may contain suspicious attachments or links.
The tone is often impersonal or unusual.
✅ What should you do if you receive a suspicious email?
Do not click on links or download attachments.
Do not reply to the email .
Check the sender's exact address. (In Gmail : Open the email → click the small arrow to the right of the name to reveal the full address.)
Forward the fraudulent email to my official address: info@moniquemichel.com
Report the email as phishing to your email provider:
In Gmail : Open the email → click ⋮ (the three dots in the top right corner) → Report as phishing .
In Outlook : Open the Mail menu → 'Spam' → Phishing .
🙏 Conclusion
I take this situation very seriously and have already strengthened the security of my domain to limit such attempts in the future.
Your vigilance is essential to prevent this fraud from succeeding.
Thank you all for contributing by reporting suspicious emails and sharing these best practices with others.
Of course, I remain available for any questions via moniquemichel@marketingbienveillant.com
Kind regards,
Monique Michel
